About the Book
Imagine your marriage dissolving and you're trying to find a way to repair it when you discover strange things happening to your body. Your skin changes in ways that no one on this earth has seen before. Visions you know aren’t real, like your dead grandmother and your dog that died five years ago plague you.
In addition to all these things, in your backyard things are not what they appear. Something has changed. Something has taken over the plants and made them appear alive with intelligence and cunning. You can’t tell anyone about this, who would believe you?
About the Author
I have been writing for the past ten years. I originally started writing as a result of a bad marriage. I do not recommend this method of getting started for any aspiring author. However, that unfortunate situation allowed me the time to pursue something I've wanted to do for years. This is the first full-length novel I've written and I found it a joy to write. The prevailing authorities in the field state that the hardest novel to write is your first novel. Well guess what? They're right! It indeed was the hardest writing experience I've ever had. But, I will tell you this, also, it was one of the most enjoyable experiences of my writing life as well. You can learn a lot about yourself and others close to you when you're writing a novel. I think it was John Lennon who said, "Life has a way of interfering with your goals." That's true. It's very hard to write while you're trying to hold down a full time job, keep the wife happy, pay the bills, have time to relax, and then find time to write. All in all, I've written 10 short stories, and have at least 20 or more in development. I have story ideas for at least 30 more novels. All of these ideas are very easy to come by, it's the character development and keeping the reader interested that takes time and are what makes you the reader keep coming back for more. Writing is a lonely craft, but it is nice to see your name in print and to know that others read and like your work. I have a Bachelor of Applied Science Degree in CAD Technology, and am finishing my Masters in Technology Management.
