They can incapacitate you to the point that you are pulled from the present into the past all within the blink of an eye. These memories disrupt your sleep at night along with your families and neighbors through night terrors. These horrible memories demand immediate attention; they demand to be spoken of, but you have to be careful to whom you reveal them and how.

Although this book is published as fiction the author survived the events in this book with her humanity still intact. The author's voice, like many others who experienced abuse in their lives was silenced by society. Many of today's victims will see their lives in the pages of this book.
The author took the front cover picture four months before her mother was murdered at #8 Tower Drive. The blurred photo predicted the confused, conflicted and distorted events just four months away. Only people who have experienced the events found in this book will truly understand the drastic confusion and conflict they cause, but maybe others will at least gain some understanding. This book will generate emotional responses.
About the Author
R.Q. Abernathy has been compelled to write since she was a small child. Ideas and stories constantly filled her mind and begged to be released in print. Her stories filled her life with great joy and great sorrow and many times in the past she attempted to release them in words, so they would be shared with the world. However, life's distraction constantly interfered until now. She writes from her heart. She hopes her stories will enhance the lives of all who read them.
