God's Power Inside the Prison Cell

Well I am 26 years old and I have been in and out of prison for the last 11yrs, for all sorts of crimes. From car theft to armed robbery,and I am doing 12 months now for A.B.H. When I was growing up I went to Sunday School and Church, I always found it really enjoyable, but as I started getting into trouble with the law I had stopped going to Church. While I was in prison, I still got into trouble and I always seemed to end up in the punishment block and it was there that I smashed my cell up one night. When the staff had cleaned up, all that was left in my cell was a Bible, so I started reading it, and that night I gave myself to the Lord and asked him to change my life and help me (the date was 26th October 1999). As I had smashed my cell up I had nothing in my cell. No toilet, no windows, nothing and I knew I would not get my cell fixed for up to a month, but the next day I went to a visit and when I came back to my cell it was fixed. (God Had started to help me already). Well I finished my sentence with no more trouble, so I started going to Church again. But after two months I stopped going and I started back on the drugs and getting into trouble. I had turned my back on the Lord. While I was on remand I had started getting depressed and started taking lots of drugs to black out the things, I had been so angry that I became a Muslim, but I was never really happy. Then I was doubled up with a guy called David, and about five days later I met Martin.
I told Martin I had been with the Lord and we got talking and he asked me if I was in any pain as God could heal me. Martin prayed for the pain in my stomach to go away. Which to be honest I thought Martin was a bit mad. but I had this weird feeling and then there was no more pain. I could not believe it, I jumped for joy and I felt like I was going to cry and I asked how did you do that. He said he did nothing (God did it). I thought, yes you are right. Now I know God is with me and loves me or he would not have done this and I will never forget that day or you Martin. (Thanks) for opening my eyes again.

About the Book
A number of years ago, the Lord called me to put everything down in a book and to let individuals know and see what he has been doing in my life and within the prison cell throughout world.
I started to write this book, it contains some of my own personal experiences of Gods power within the prison cell, especially here in Nothern Ireland. Also I am involved with many other inmates through correspondance from other parts of the world. Again through this Ministry I have received incredible and amazing testimonies of Gods healing power from all over the world. The book contains many testimonies of healing, written by inmates again from all over the world. I talk about my highs and lows, the times I struggle etc.
I have read many books on prison etc but never have I ever read a collection of so many events and miracles that are taken from prisons throughout the world.
The title is as it states "Reflection of Christ" Gods power inside the prison cell. This book contains some of the events that I have experienced over a three year period. There are funny stories, and others that will make you cry. Many people will be amazed at what is written.
It is God who receives all of the Glory, many through this book will come to know and see how real he is and the Grace and Mercy he has towards these outcasts of society.
About the Author
I was born in Northampton England on the 8th July 1967. When I was just one year old, my parents and older Brother moved back to Northern Ireland. My parents were originally from Northern Ireland.
At the age of 15 I became a Christian, this took place on the 7th November 1982. From this very day my life was to change. I was married to Margaret on 7th October 1989, we both have been Blessed with two children, Hannah and Laura. I work as a toolmaker in an Aerospace company.
In 1996 whilst in the workplace I started to write Poetry. I was Blessed by God with this gift. Then in June 2000, I had an encounter with God at home. My Christian life then took on a new meaning. I was called to Prison Ministry on the last Friday of June 2000. that night I had a supernatural experience, it was as if I had been given the eyes of the Lord to see those who were incarcerated. This was an amazing experience as I had never been interested in Prison Ministry.
From that night to present, I have witnessed Gods power in a miraculous way. To-day this ministry reaches out to the inmates throughout the world. I walk the wings here in Northern Ireland and share Gods love with the inmates. With my own eyes I have seen great miracles take place. Throughout the world today we are involved with thousands of inmates and many other Ministries. Really, words cannot fully describe the things I have witnessed God do. As the Lord touched many and healed those who were sick, he is demonstrating his power and to those within the prison cell. Christ himself spent a lot of hids time with those who were classed as outcasts of society.
It is in the prisons to-day that God is touching many individuals. I am to-day as the book title suggests "Reflecting Christ" within the prison walls.
