About the Book

Going to the dentist for the first time should be an enjoyable experience.  Having our teeth x-rayed, examined and cleaned are all important elements of good oral health.  All parents want their children to have a pleasant first impression of their doctors and Sophie’s First Trip to the Dentist can aide in that endeavor.  It uses fun, rhyming language and simple, realistic illustrations to prepare children for the sights and sounds that may occur when they get to visit their dentist for the first time.

About the Author

Michelle Rogers is a special education teacher who lives in Cincinnati, Ohio. She has enjoyed reading and writing since she was a small child.  Michelle was inspired to write this story by her husband Jim who is a dentist.   Her greatest wish is that this book brings healthy smiles to children everywhere!
