Keep looking up Though you may feel worn down Keep your smile on Though some wear a frown. Keep anticipating Keep expecting the best Just do what you can….. Hope and pray for the rest. Be the kind of example Others want to follow And if today was a disappointment Well…there's always tomorrow! You won't experience life's rainbows Unless you have rain If there were only sunshine filled days You'd have sunburn and pain. Are you half-way to your goals? Or half-way behind? How you look at your life… Is just a matter of mind. If you keep a positive outlook In whatever you do Good friends and good fortune Will be sure to find you!!

About the Book
My poems are about issues people deal with on a daily basis; family, love, death, divorce, faith, hope, being a single parent and just life in general.
Poems have a way of taking our joy, love, faith, hope, fear, sadness and all our other emotions and preserving those moments forever. They help to lighten a heavy heart and warm a cold one.
I have enjoyed writing every poem in this book whether I wrote it with tears in my eyes, love in my heart or a big smile on my face. Each poem shares the emotions that were felt at that time. I believe that once you start reading them you'll be able to relate with many of them. Now go....get comfortable and enjoy reading!
About the Author
My love of poetry began when I was a child growing up in Long Island, N.Y. and my mom would read me the poems she had written herself. I loved how she could take her thoughts and rhyming words and make me feel like I was right there experiencing what was happening in her poems.
I started writing poems for family and friends when I was in high school and have continued to write poetry since then. My sons surprise gift of this publishing contract is the only reason I have finally assembled years of poems, into this book!
Often I have sat back in amazement after feeling like some of my poems wrote themselves and I was only the hand that put the words down on paper. I hope you will enjoy reading them as much as I have enjoyed writing them!
