What makes a family? A single mom? Two Dads? This book talks about all different families. Families are ever changing in today’s society. This shows that all families should be embraced and celebrated.  Families are what you make them and the ultimate connecting factor is love.

About the Author

Growing up I always knew I was different. I was filled with great determination to succeed and dreams of making my parents proud. My mom says I never cease to amaze her. My father would also be proud and beaming if he knew I had written a book. It has been a lifelong goal to write a children’s book. I have had many life experiences that have shaped me as the person I am today. When I had a goal of running a marathon, I didn’t just run one, I ran three. I have saved a young girl's life using CPR. I have gone to Europe by myself. As an Educator for 14 years I have raised over 30,000 dollars for cancer and heart disease. I have promoted my deceased father’s photography and the photos are now used by the Fred Hutchinson Cancer research center. I have been with my partner Jill for 12 years. My greatest accomplishment is my three little children who come running and screaming when they see me with smiles as big as the moon and back. I love them dearly. They are the greatest of all my joys and continue to inspire me everyday.
