About the Book

A Firm Foundation is a book primarily for Christians, and those interested in gaining a better understanding of the Christian faith. It describes in detail, the six fundamental truths of Christianity - namely: Repentance from dead works; Faith towards God; Doctrine of baptisms; Laying on of hands; Resurrection of the dead; Eternal judgment.

With one chapter dedicated to each of the above topics, the reader is able to clearly comprehend the elementary truths of the Christian faith.

In the book’s quest to explain the essentials of Christianity, the reader is exposed to a broad spectrum of thought on their reading journey. And the author has used examples from his own life, and those close to him, to explain how one can go about ensuring a life of firmness and immovability.

About the Author

Mornay Johnson was born and raised in South Africa. In 2001 he relocated to Arizona USA, where he now resides permanently. Mornay considers himself a lay-minister; with one foot in the marketplace and the other in part-time ministry. Mornay is a software engineer by trade but has managed to amass extensive ministry experience. He has undertaken street outreaches, hospital visitation and evangelism, prophetic ministry and led various home groups. Mornay is known for his evangelist heart and keen prophetic gifting - a unique combination that has enabled him to see many people’s lives changed.

A Firm Foundation is Mornay’s first book, but admits that the writing bug has bitten him in the “worst” way possible. Mornay has just completed a new book entitled "Marketplace Ministry" (yet to be published); which caters primarily to Christian businessmen.
