The Sleeping Giant Has Awakened
For years the enemy of our faith has lulled the church to sleep by using religion (looking like a Christian on the outside, but the heart is cold toward the Lord on the inside), traditions of man, routines of Christianity, complacency, and titles. We sometimes look for titles rather than servant hood. We look at church like the world looks at Hollywood. I’m afraid that sometimes we look at Pastors like the lead in a movie and when the show is over we go home and go to sleep. The enemy wants us to believe that we are to be spectators, not participators. The enemy wants us to believe our Pastor is supposed to do all the work when the bible says He gives Pastors to “equip the saints to do the work of the ministry.” These lies, if we allow them, will be like a sedative. What happens when we sleep is found in Matthew 13:24-30, “He put before them another parable “The kingdom of heaven may be compared to someone who sowed good seed in the field but while everybody was asleep, an enemy came and sowed weeds among the wheat and then went away. So when the plants came up and bore grain, then the weeds appeared as well. And the slaves of the householder came and said to him “Master, did you not sow good seed in your fields? Where then, did you not sow good seed in your fields? Where then, did these weeds come from? He answered, “An enemy has done this.” The slaves said to him “THEN do you want us to go and gather them? “But he replied, “No, for in fathering the weeds you would uproot the wheat along with them. Let both of them grow together until the harvest; and at harvest time I will tell the reapers, collect the weeds first and bind them in bundles to be burned, but gather the wheat into my barn.”
But I believe the remnant is waking up and rising up and preparing herself for such a move. It’s time to wake up! Ephesians 5:14-17 “Wherefore he saith, Awake thou that sleepest, and arise from the dead, and Christ shall give thee light. See then that ye walk circumspectly, not as fools, but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil. Wherefore be ye not unwise, but understanding what the will of the Lord is.”
It’s time to wake up to your identity. Wake up to your calling. Wake up to your position in the body of Christ. And be activated. It’s time to move, it’s not a time to rest, and it’s time for War! It’s time to take back what the enemy has stolen. He has stolen our joy, our peace, our identity our anointing and our power; but it’s time to get it back. Wake up in your power, in your anointing, in your position. Don’t be a spectator, be a participator. Wake up and get to work in the Kingdom. Wake up to your prosperity. The alarm clock has gone off.
