About the Book

This story will bring joy to everyone who reads it.  It will also bring tears to many – tears of love instead of tears of pain.  If you’re a loving parent, especially with small children, this book will delight you, and your children will be thrilled.

When two young children asked their mother for permission to go out and play on a nearby field, no one could even imagine the fantastic adventure that they encountered, an adventure which ultimately brought huge changes to the population, structure, economy and way of life of Peaceville.

This is not a story about an ordinary clock.  It’s a story about a very unique and mysterious clock which served a much greater purpose than just to tell time.  It controlled an entire civilization.

The story contains heart-warming kindness coming from everyone.  There is absolutely no malice or evil, other than the forces of nature.  Everyone did what was best to do, and pitched in whenever possible.  No one was disrespected; even small children were allowed to voice their ideas and opinions.  People risked their lives to help those who they thought were mean to them.  Everyone in Peaceville lived in harmony with everyone else regardless of anything.

If this story changes the life of only one person, for the better, even for a brief moment, then it was worth writing this book.

About the Author

I have a lifetime of story-telling.  I have written many stories before, but “The Clock of Peaceville” was the first one published.

My children couldn’t get enough of my stories when they were small.  They wanted to hear a different one every night before they went to sleep.  I had to make up stories, which did not exist, in order to satisfy their cravings.  This one took several nights to tell.

I have also told stories at gatherings with family members and friends.  Everyone, young and old, listened to my stories with great enjoyment and enthusiasm.

I have a degree in computer sciences from NYCC.  I have done many things in my life, but I am now a retired real estate broker.  I am a divorced father of two grown children.  I love the outdoors, but what I enjoy the most is fishing on the ocean; I can’t seem to get enough of it.  When I’m not fishing, I’m writing stories.
