Four months before his mother passed away, Derrick had networked with friends and companies in

He invited her back for Christmas so that she could meet his children. The children assured him that they would be home for Christmas to spend the holidays with him. When he talked to them by phone, he told them that he had a surprise for them.
Derrick and Lauryn in turn spoke back and forth to each other, and wondered what was the big surprise? Margo got there a day before they arrived. They soon learned that the surprise was that Allen and Margo were engaged and planned to marry in
June. Lauryn liked Margo, but Derrick hated the sight of her. He told his sister and his father that Margo was a gold digger and was only after his money. This angered and hurt Allen very much.
Derrick left the house after dinner frustrated, he called his old girlfriend Denise, and went by to see her. After a few holiday drinks they made love. Two months later she informed Derrick that she was pregnant. He was dumbfounded, he did not believe it was his child that she had conceived because she played around with other men He was not about to let her hook him into marriage; Sylvia was the woman he wanted to marry. In June Allen and Margo were married and took a six week cruise.
Derrick insisted that he needed a DNA to prove that he was the father of Denise''s baby. They had the test and it came back positive that he was the father. When he told Sylvia, she broke off their engagement. They got back together four months later, and resumed their wedding plans. Derrick now did some soul searching and decided to try to make amends to Allen and Margo, and begged their forgiveness for the way he had treated them. They forgave him.
A man claiming to be Allen''s brother came to visit a week before Allen arrived home from his cruise. His name was Robert Cullen Jr. He did not tell Herb why he needed to talk to Allen, but that he would return the following week When Allen returned to the office Herb told him about the man, and that the man should be there today. Cullen showed up claiming to be Allen''s brother and that he should share in the Bancroft fortune, after all
Allen told him to come back next Monday and he would figure out something. He immediately called Herb into the office and told him to hire detective on this case right away and from what Cullen had told him already, the Sr. Cullen was in a nursing home somewhere in

About the Book
The best way to describe my story "The Last Will and Testament" is to say that it is about a father, and his sometime reckless son. It is about the Bancroft family and the head of this family is Allen Bancroft. After Allen''''s wife Camille passed away, he thought that he could rely on the love of his son Derrick,and his daughter Lauryn to help him get through his sorrow.
The ambitions, and attitude of his son almost made that impossible. Derrick wanted to take over his father''''s computer company when his father retired or passed on.. However, as a teenager he never wanted to learn anything about the company business as Allen had done with his father when he was a boy.
Although Derrick went on to become a stock analyst, Allen did not trust him where his company affairs were concerned. Lauryn on the other hand, was the kind and smiling daughter that never gave her parents any trouble growing up. Allen adored her; she went on to become a fashion designer in
About the Author
I have always liked to read, and always wanted to become a writer. After working years as an Office Assistant and Word Processor, I decided it was time to plot my future after retirement. What would I like to do? become a writer.
I sat out to do something about it. I took a short course in creative writing, and novel writing. It came to me that people of great wealth often have problems with greedy family members waiting to see who will be left in the will after the head of the family passed on. That is what inspired me to write The Last Will And Testament.
