About the Author

Dr. Thomas P. Simon has published over 250 professional papers and three books on biological indicators and the assessment of aquatic habitats. His twenty years of experience in the field provides a fresh perspective on Great Lakes coastal wetland indicator development. Dr. Paul M. Stewart is the ALFA chair in the Department of Biological and Environmental Sciences at Troy University. His expertise is in biological indicators and has resulted in the publication of over 100 papers in the environmental science field.
