About the Author

Marjorie Schuler was born in Winona, Minnesota, in 1925. There she spent her tomboyhood, until her father retired from the Schuler Candy Company, and the family moved to St. Pete, Florida.

Florida was her Garden of Eden, where she met a “child prodigy” with too much money and charisma, and hardly any common sense.  She then became Marjorie McKenna, had five children, and a twenty year joyride; living in California, then Florida, then California, then Arizona, then New York, Arizona again, and finally, the Florida Keys.  Plus stop-offs at Dante’s Inferno.

After the divorce, she moved to Miami, remarried, and earned her living as an actor and model, along with her husband, Paul Brown.  She began investing in real estate, and still manages some of her rental houses, both in Miami, and in St. Augustine, where she has been living for the past several years.
