Parsley Pete wants a pet

But he hasn’t learned responsibility yet.

His birthday is in the month of May,

he’s sure he’ll get his pet that day.

A puppy is his pet of choice

because he already has lots of toys.

and he’d love to share his experiences with you.

About the Author

A Sunday school teacher for many years to toddlers and adolescents, she began writing skits to help her classes better understand the bible. 

This talent manifested when the activity director found that many Christmas and Easter plays failed to convey the message she wished to instill in the children.  Having a special love for children, GJ began writing the plays.  For more than 17 years she has committed to writing and directing the plays for New Holy Trinity Church of God in Christ.

A banker by profession, she was often appalled by the deceptive conning of the elderly and financially inexperienced.  This compassion inspired her to author a monthly newsletter entitled The True Vine. 

Her latest venture is as a student of the Institute for Children’s Literature.
