Book

As Bernadette began to leaf through Book's pages she came to the picture of the dense green forest.Her eyes became transfixed, she stared and stared into the forest. Her eyes then fixed on the words "THE GREEN MIST IS IN THE AIR THE CHILD'S FACE IS PALE AND FAIR THE SPIRIT QUEEN CANNOT BE FOUND WHILE THE MIST LAYS ON THE GROUND". As Bernadette read these words they began to lift off the page of the book floating out into the air. The words echoed again and again in Bernadette’s mind, she began to feel lightheaded and dizzy. Green mist began to rise from the page of the book and Bernadette’s eyelids began to feel heavy. Try as she might she could not keep them open, the book fell from her hands onto the floor. When she awoke she was no longer at home but in a green dense forest, she could feel a cool breeze on her cheeks as it danced through the branches of the trees and the faint cry of somebody calling. It called "turn around look on the ground" then the faint voice called again. Bernadette looked for the voice but all she could see in front of her was a green dense mist on the ground and trees. She turned in the other direction but again it was the same, a green mist carpeted the forest floor and again more trees. Bernadette stood still and began thinking. Then Bernadette remembered yes it must be something to do with those last words in the book, now what were they? She put her thinking cap back on again. She began to remember placing together the words in the book. The something….something cannot be found while the mist lays on the ground. She nearly had all of it now what was that something something yes I’ve got it she then spoke out loudly "the spirit queen cannot be found while the mist lays on the ground." Finished, Bernadette stood and watched as all around her the green mist started to rise, float up into the air and then fade away. Then she saw something right by her shoe. It was the tiniest weaniest toadstall Bernadette had ever seen. As Bernadette stared at it, it began to glow and glow. At first she felt scared until she heard the soft gentle voice that seemed to be coming from the toadstall. It was then as she bent down lower she saw the Spirit Queen.
