About the Book
An elderly widower, alone and with no family, is offered rejuvenation by alien visitors to Earth. Accepting, he is set down in a new location and with a brand new identity. He now has to carve out a new life for himself in a world vastly different from the one he knew from his previous existence.
About the Author
After a short spell as a laboratory assistant in the gas industry and National Service in the Royal Army Educational Corps Bernard joined the Civil Service. Initially employed in H.M. Customs & Excise he later transferred to the Department for National Savings, taking early retirement at the age of 57. His previous writing experience has mainly been in the field of sports journalism. He was editor of the Ice Hockey Herald for six years, and has recently published two reference books on Scottish football under the title of 'The Winners'. His first novel, 'The Guardians', was published by AuthorHouse in 2004 and he is currently working on a third, to be titled 'The Lannan Project'. Bernard is single and lives in East Kilbride in Lanarkshire. His hobbies include researching vintage T.V., home computing and the study of reincarnation.
