Calasia Day was born in Atlanta, Ga., to a preacher and dedicated to God in 1956, when America agreed to protect Israel. Taken to the pioneer mission field for the S. Baptist Association, she was raised in Toledo & Perrysburg, Ohio. After being hazed by the popular girls in the school locker room, she went to a modeling school and became a local, state, and national beauty queen. Graduated from Bowling Green State University with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications, she worked 25 years as a Regional Sales Executive. Dated a movie producer, she was brought to Houston, Texas as a possible movie star. But she married a High School Jazz Band Director, and they have four teenagers, Destinee, Houston, Jazz, and Hailey who sing and play instruments. Calasia is nondenominational, very international, and evolving religiously. She has had her own cable show called, “TELL: The Ever Lasting Lights Show”, and is considered one of the best poets in the USA. She was inspired to develop the “Star of Jesus” Jewelry as a peace symbol to solve the Middle East problem. Now she authors “Jesus is Our Star” which explains the significance of this line of jewelry to those who hope for Jesus to return. www.starofjesus.com
