The author is a five-time cancer survivor who started college  along with her children when she was 41.  As a “late bloomer” she began a metamorphic change with amazing results.  She is a certified Social Worker with an MSW, mother of two and grandmother of five.  She helped found the Eaton Rapids Senior Center and is currently a board member of the Eaton Rapids Area Historical Society.   Her passion is helping others and preserving the history and culture of her community.  She lives with her husband of 33 years at 502 Raeburn Rd., Eaton Rapids, MI. 48827
