About the Author

Michael F. Kallon, a native of Sierra Leone on Africa’s west coast has lived in the United States since escaping the barbaric war in Liberia in the 1980s, and also the warring in Sierra Leone in the 1990s.

He was a student of the catholic primary school in his home town of Koindu, and also of the Holy Trinity Secondary School in Kenema, Sierra Leone. He also furthered his education at the Kakata Teachers’ Training College in Kakata, Liberia, where he obtained an Associate Degree in Education.

He has a BA degree in Writing and Literature from Burlington College in Vermont, USA and also a diploma in Free Lance Writing with the Harcourt Higher Learning in Scranton, Pennsylvania. He also pursued a career in Private Investigation from the Detective Training School in California.

Mr. Kallon has written many works on his KISSI culture, in Africa, and now on life in the United States of America.
