About the Book
BUSY PARENTS use these tips that take only Two Minutes to read and Two Minutes to use! ENJOY every moment of your parenting experience by creating powerful connections that meet the needs of both you and your children. CHOOSE and USE the methods that work for your family to solve your children’s bedtime fears, teach them to write letters or do artwork for apologies, and calm themselves down with exercise timeouts. It can enhance your relationship through positive actions. PARENTING tips in this book were mostly inspired by my son, Brandon, who has ADHD. I could not keep up with his energy, so I involved him in his own parenting plan. I set the limits for bedtime, eating vegetables, etc., and he found creative ways to follow the rules. GREAT IDEAS in this book can help with all children, especially those with lots of energy!
About the Author
Brenda Bolanos-Ivory has been a stay-at-home mom for eight years. She is a strong advocate for creative parenting, inspired by her son, Brandon, who has ADHD, as well as her daughter, Veronica, and step-daughters, Madison and Peyton.
Forming a consistent positive bond with her children without yelling or scolding has been her goal and a real challenge, especially when dealing with ADHD in the household.
Brenda has dealt with a back disability for almost two decades and has had to exert her energy in very focused bursts of love and discipline. Many people have overheard Brenda parenting her children, asked her for parenting ideas, and suggested she write a book to share her secrets for parenting and bonding that take two minutes or less.
This book was written for all Two-Minute-Moms and Dads who use fast, easy and fun methods to connect and bond with their children.
