About the Book

This book is an inspiration by many people that has walked through Kenneth''s path of life. From his mother to a boy called Paul, and also the drive to live forward was his inspiration. The book first started out as writing thoughts which was in a poem text. Before he knew it the letters became words, words became sentences, the sentences became what is now his first book. Kenneth found several people in his life which was inspired by his poems. He thought if several other people can be helped by the words he writes, then the book was worth the time and money putting it together.


About the Author

Kenneth G. Hobba was born on August 27, 1966 in New London, Connecticut. Up until the age of nine, he lived in Groton, Connecticut with his mother and siblings. Between the ages of 10-14, he lived in several homes but, still living with his mother and siblings. It wasn''t until the age of 15 that his parents settled to live in Westerly, Rhode Island. His favorite sport was soccer, which he played in junior and senior high school. Only weeks after graduating from Westerly High School, Kenneth entered into the United States Navy on June 27, 1985. He served on board the USS America (CV-66), Naval Station NOB Port Operations Norfolk, Virginia and on the USS Shreveport (LPD-12). He departed the navy in January of 1996 under Honorable Discharge. Through his determination and will to live, he was up for the challenge to convert to the civilian way of life. After working a couple of jobs and numerous challenges, he now resides in Norfolk, Virginia, which is now where he considers home.
