About the Author

About the author and illustrator:

Tara Herod is a happily married mother of two.  She grew up in rural Canada, and now lives in the suburbs of Ontario.  Growing up, she always loved creative writing in school.  After college, she began working with troubled youths.  With over 10 years in her field, she has learned the importance of teaching young children the values that are truly important in life.  In recent years, she became a mother and was inspired to write a book that would express all of the wishes she hoped would come true for her two little girls.

The project wouldn’t be complete without her childhood friend agreeing to join creative forces and become the illustrator.  Rhea Bischof is a trained graphic designer, who lives in Toronto, with her 5 year-old daughter, and loving mate.  Her vivid imagination and artistic talent enabled her to make Tara’s words come to life on the pages of this book.  A friendship of almost 20 years, and a creative partnership is how “If I had One Wish for You” was born.
