About the Book

Matunda Ya Kwanzaa

The celebration of first fruits festivals dates back as far as before Christ in the bible and today is celebrated throughout the world. This story makes reading this controversial subject fun and easy.

Traditionally, African children love to hear stories about animals. This story gives four animals human characteristics to be able to accept a difficult task and accomplish it successfully.

The Story of the Cow and the Plantation Owner

A wealthy plantation owner cannot rest until he finds his favorite cow so he takes a very interesting journey to bring it back.

Adaeze (Princess)

An African princess unexpectedly falls in love with an African prince. Unfortunately, their cultures will not allow them to be together in holy matrimony so they spend eternity together in spirit.

About the Author

I credit this collection of stories to my belief in the gift of creativity and the source God. My work is based upon the novels I have researched and studied in The African Writers Series. I have had opportunities to meet with and talk to African people from North, South, East, and West Africa. By the time this book is published, I will have traveled to Africa three times to study their culture.
