Miranda's Gift

About the Book

Miranda is a young girl with a psychic gift that she uses to amuse her school mates, and when Bob, a young admirer, loses his dog, she locates it through holding its collar in her hands. Years later they meet again at a seaside caravan site where a little girl has gone missing, and Bob, now a policeman on the case, remembers Miranda’s gift and asks her to help find the child.

     When the child is found dead, Miranda is persuaded to help the police in trying to catch a dangerous paedophile who strikes at random.

     His own traumatised past means that he targets young, blonde girls that remind him of his daughter, but when he abducts a small girl at the school gates, there are unforeseen and tragic consequences.

About the Author

Veronica Moon lives in Twickenham with her partner and two cats. She has a diploma in Art and Design, and has worked in advertising for many years, but now restores and sells antiques, writes poetry and short stories, and this is her first novel.
