About the Book

This book follows Rays Of Sunshine as are- affirmation of the authors dedication to understanding his place in God’s creation. Nearly everything I do is to help others and try to repay the blessings I have received throughout my life. The profits from this book will be used to continue the Hatteras Island Benefit I started after Hurricane Isabel. Along with Rays Of Sunshine, my DVD  Johnnie Baum / The Hatteras Island Poet, and my various readings, I intend to make God’s love more easily understandable as I show it through my eyes and words. He lives. In our hearts and all around us, if only we will seek Him.

About the Author

Johnnie Baum is a native of the Outer Banks Of North Carolina. He has been writing in this area for over 20 years. His writings have been published in many newsletters, newspapers, magazines, and bulletins. This is his 4th book. He has written: A Concert in Rhyme – Vantage Press, Remembrance – Hatteras Monitor Publications, Rays of Sunshine – AuthorHouse, and has a recently released DVD titled simply, Johnnie Baum / The Hatteras Island Poet. His last two works, and this present one are an attempt by him to give something back to the ONE he owes so much. 50% of all profits are set aside to help local charities and the donations are mostly handled by the Hatteras United Methodist Church. His reading include fundraisers for local historical sites, involving the U.S. Coast Guard, National Park Service, Graveyard Of  The Atlantic Museum, local churches, and nursing homes. The readings are for others as he believes that he can reach more people with his message of hope, love, and the independence of all people.
