About the Author
About the Author
Allison Guthrie lives in Denton, Texas. She has a journalism degree from Baylor University and has written for a variety of publications. While living in coastal Half Moon Bay in California she started painting watercolors of the sea life she saw each day. One of the illustrations was an Easter card painted for her nephews. But, then the card seemed to take on a life of its own. Soon there was an outline of a story and eleven more illustrations. The author's move from Texas to the Coast of California was just as life-changing and adventurous as was LouisE's metaphoric journey from Half Moon Bay to Easter Island. Ms. Guthrie has a notoriously low tolerance for boredom as does LouisE so check back with Authorhouse to see where LouisE goes next!
