About the Book

In The War you will find the story of the Trojan War, following the adventures of the centaurs and satyrs who fought it, while in The Flesh Worshipers you will discover vibrant life in skeletal form, not as monsters but as the norm.  Michelangelo’s Walk presents the supernatural way Michelangelo was inspired to paint the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel, while Vengeance Is Mine is supernatural horror.  The Joke brings a select group together to play Russian roulette, and I Did It for Him shows that the road to emotional hell is indeed paved with good intentions.

About the Author

Joseph A. Gironda teaches philosophy, psychology, sociology, and history at an all-girls college-prep academy in his hometown of Bayonne, NJ.  The author believes that a wide range of reading helps to make a good writer.  Philosophy, to him, opens the mind to the greatest extent.  In his classroom is posted a quote from Sir Francis Bacon, “Knowledge Is Power,” and he believes that everyone has creative ability within him or her.  The author is the father of identical twin boys, Patrick and David, who are his pride and joy.
