About the Book
Regina was just an ordinary girl who lived a plain,
ordinary life. The adventure begins with a school assignment
asking all of the students to imagine and design their own island,
culture, and people. After a tragic motorboat incident, Regina
winds up in the island of her dreams: Rainbow Island; the exact place
she created for her assignment. Being a new visitor on the
island, the residents are astounded at Regina's pre-knowledge of their
crazy culture; and they believe she has incredible psychic powers to
help them solve a culture-threatening crime and save the island.
With no psychic help to give, Regina becomes an enemy of the land; and
she must find the real criminal on her own to reclaim her friendship
and restore the island. With the help of four trusting
companions, magical creatures and places, and supernatural powers,
Regina goes on the greatest adventure of her life; not only to save her
dreamland but to save her self-pride and esteem as well. Readers
everywhere will learn that determination and confidence is all it takes
to become a true hero.
