Is To Whisper,
A wide spread of thoughts cross my eyes when I grasp the
windows of my soul,
All that is sightless an unseen, yet it takes it’s form in reality.
My life seems to die through naked eyes, revealing me
through my feeling for what has caused painful unloving.
My eyes drip saltwater my face drops and my heart an soul
they ache with screaming vibration, there’s none like I that
can feel such deepened emotions,
leaving myself just to turn to embrace my deepened emotions.
Awakening myself to lift my head next to feel strong
again.
To understand is to look from within, to cry in silence, is
to whisper.
It was in between dust and dawn when the phone rang; it
was like a church bell ringing when you are up close to it. It
rang in Munirah’s head sitting her straight up in the bed that
she and her sister Safyia shared. She looked over at Safyia
she was still and sleeping sound. The phone rang and rang
then Munirah heard her mother Mundew answer “Hello?”
“Yes?” Then she heard something drop, crashing down on
the floor her sister Safyia rolled over towards the wall with
her thumb in her mouth her oldest sister Chotsani sneezed

About the Book
This story is about a young woman who lost her way in the journey of love and life. Munirah, the main character, had lived a sheltered life and upon losing her father Chuma, she finds that she has an older brother. As Munirah grew older, she experiences what the world was all about and about the people who lives in it. Munirah was confronted with all types of entities including that which was of a spiritual nature. Peer pressure introduced Munirah to Motherhood and adulthood pregnant with her daughter Jamafrica she found that life was not only something you lived and lost yet something that could be given. Munirah struggles to keep her sanity, enduring heartache, frustration and confusion, leaving her in an awakening of destruction. Munirah is then prepared for a new purpose in life. Munirah is blessed with a spiritual awakening, an enlightenment of hope that changes her life forever.
About the Author
This new Author Imoni Imon Ali is a Mother of two and a grand mother of two grandson's and a exspecting grand daughter.
She''s also a poet, and artist. Imoni was born in Syracuse New York and has Five Sisters and Two brothers. Imoni had worked with community youth and young adults on many levels.
Imoni is also the founder of a women's group called "Know Thy Self" in syracuse New York and has worked with wayward young men in a program call The New Beinginnings.
Imoni is now living in Savannah Georgia with her husband "Museth" and is working on her next novel.
