About the Book
This delightful story begins in a backyard on a scorching summer day where five brothers and sisters are deeply involved in an intense game of "red light, green light." Five year old Alterick can hardly contain himself when for the first time he is about to win the game against his older siblings, until his mom declares she is going to the grocery store. He gives up his victory for the opportunity to pick out the yummy snacks, without ever realizing his decision will turn out to be anything but ordinary. Believing he hears music in a can of strawberry juicy juice, Alterick's music goes well beyond the grocery store, sweeping you off your feet and into a journey filled with wonder, disbelief, suspense, hope, and a clearly defined substantial amount of drama.
If you hold on tight to your music in the can, you will enjoy and relate to the many challenges Alterick will face. The music instantly becomes yours in a truly mesmerizing and inspiring way that you never thought it could. You won't believe how a simple can will change your whole life. Enjoy the journey!
