About the Book
In Pathways Of Life, the author takes you on a journey, sharing, through poetry and prose, his experiences, thoughts, and perceptions concerning love, life, people, war, and his heritage; together with reflections on the world in general. Says the author: “If the reader, as he or she moves through the material, will stop occasionally and reflect on their own experiences, nearly everyone should find at least one item to which they can relate during their journey along the Pathways Of Life.
About the Author
“Writing is a form of therapy that unburdens the mind, stimulates the thought process, and frees the spirit to fly unfettered through space and time. It permits the expression of feeling, belief, opinion, and those brief flashes of brilliance that would otherwise go unrecorded.” Robert Ross writes poetry about life, people, personal experiences, and other general subjects to which people can relate. His poetry, for the most part, is direct and to the point. Several of his poems have appeared in poetry anthologies (e.g., On the Threshold of a Dream, published by the National Library of Poetry, Moments More To Go, published by the Watermark Press, and Images, published by The Iliad Press). His work has also appeared in “Sisters Nineties,” a magazine featuring Black Writers.
