I woke up one morning and everything around me looked the same. The couch was still in the same place. The lounge chair was still lounging. The blinds were still pulled down, keeping the bright light of sunshine from shining through. And I still ran into a few crumbs that had fallen to the floor from the night before..
I prepared for the day just as I did any other day. I got up and got children are off to school and headed for work. The people on my job hadn’t changed a bit. Neither had the agenda. The church program had not been altered. Oh I received a different word and heard a few new testimonies but nothing far from the norm. I did my dance and may have even sang my favorite song, but it was all the same. Almost everything that is. There was one thing that had changed. I was no longer the same. In the midst of living, I discovered the true meaning of life. And I discovered it while doing the everyday things that I had been doing for so many years. I discovered the true reason for my life.
And I began to discover, it’s not just about mother it’s not just about the daughter? It’s not just about the career? And it’s not just about the church? And I had to ask myself the question. Am I doing what I am doing? And am I doing it for the right reasons?
I know many people have their opinions of who you are and what it is that you should or should not be doing. But sometimes you need to hear directly from the Lord. Right then and there. “God Who Do You Say That I Am?” I sat before the Lord and he began to speak.
For I formed you while you were I n your mothers womb. I foreknew you and made you before anyone even knew there would be a you.
For you have been fearfully and wonderfully made.
The Lord revealed this and more to me while in a desperate pursuit of him and only him. And the light did surely shine in the darkest of nights. And he did lift me up! Enter thou in, thy good and faithful servant. And Now I know!

About the Book
Woman Where Are You? Morine Slayton-Nixon served as a faithful member of New This move meant meeting new people and starting new relationships. She went from having plenty to do in the church, to pretty much not having anything to do at all. As far as ministry went, she didn’t know where she fit or if she could. One evening while sitting down at her computer, She put her hands to the keyboard and the Lord just began to minister to her right where she was. The Lord understood every thing she was going through, even when no one else could. He let her know that everything was going to be ok. And told her he understood her pains and he could relate to each and everyone of them. “For he was touched by the feelings of my infirmities” the chastisement of our sins were laid upon him and by his strips we were healed.” God is truly good! Rom “And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
About the Author
Morine Slayton-Nixon has received Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior. She was baptized in the Holy Spirit with the evidence of speaking in tongues in the year 2004. She has served in many areas of the ministry and has been writing since age ten. She hopes that this book will be an encouragement to people all over the nation. It is her prayer that the gospel be preached all over the world that captives will be set free, broken hearts will began to healed and blinded eyes will be opened.
