With stories of love, heartache, adultery, and disappointment, along with stories of faith in God and Country.

Included in this collection of poetry is the International Library Of Poetry 2004 Editor’s Choice Award winning poem Thorns Of A Rose. It is the authors hope that in the reading of this collection of poems that you, the reader, find the strength to pick yourself up one more time. The faith to believe in a higher power and the will to embrace life’s challenges, for life, no matter the circumstance is precious. Perhaps through the reading of this book you will be taken back to a more simple way of life. To a long forgotten heartache, or to a childhood memory that will bring a tear to your eyes or a smile to your face.

About the Author

Pamela was raised in the small rural community of Coalmont, Tenn.

along with her four brothers and two sisters. She has seen her share of heartaches from losing her father and younger sister at an early age to later losing a daughter of her own. She later went through a divorce after which she supported her two sons and a daughter working as a waitress and cook in restaurants. For the last ten year she has been employed as a professional truck driver. She now resides approximately one mile from where she was raised. In her spare time she enjoys spending time with her five year old grandson. She has been writing poems since high school and always remembers the encouragement given her by a teacher, Ms. Sarah Wellborn. She has written and sold several personalized poems over the years as well as winning editor’s choice award in 2004 from the International Library Of Poetry for her poem Thorns Of A Rose.
