About the Book

In this book, you’ll find unique and inspirational poetry of a teenage girl. There’s something for everyone here, regardless of your age, or what you’re going through. Several subjects are covered.  Mothers, fathers, and teens will probably get the most out of this because it reflects the feelings, thoughts, and experiences of a teenage life. Feel free to open this book and take a walk in the footsteps of a youthful soul!

About the Author

Amanda is fifteen years old, living in Auburn, Washington, a city outside Seattle. At the age of nine, this young poet started writing in her free time to help deal with issues she was going through. As a freshman in high school, Amanda was taking a creative writing class for seniors. Over the past three years, she has been a semi-finalist in 12 poetry contests, and a finalist in another. All of those poems were published in the anthologies. Three of those poetry organizations have invited her to their poetry conventions.  Amanda ranked first  in her district for the National PTA Reflections Program contest this year, and won a district essay contest in the 7^th grade for a local “Reaching Out” fair.  Getting this book of poetry published has been a lifelong dream. Amanda plans to publish more writing in the future, so keep your eyes out for more of this young author’s work!
