The Beauty of This Day
Thank you Lord for the beauty of this day,
For the Angels you’ve sent to show us the way.
Your shining light they bear upon their wings,
As upon this Earth your praise they will sing.
Thank you Lord for the morning sun,
For the savior you sent within your loving Son.
Thank you for the stars that shine above,
For the gentle darkness that brings your love.
We find in you Lord our strength and joy,
As the Angels to our hearts you come to deploy.
We thank you Lord for the bread that we eat,
Through the blood of Jesus Christ our sins we defeat.
We will share with others your bread of life,
Through the blood of Jesus they will bear life’s strife.
We give you praise for the true beauty of this world,
As within our hearts the Angels take another whirl.
Your loving comfort we shall share with all,
For the true food of life is within your call.
Thank you Lord for the beauty of this day,
For in your path of righteousness we shall never sway.
