When Night finally reached the window and stood at my side, he bent down and kissed my neck. He had been quiet but not quiet enough for me to hear. I jumped, startled by the sudden feeling of lips touching my skin. “God, why do you have to always scare me?!” I said, trying to catch my breath.
“I wasn’t trying to scare you.” Night took a seat next to me by the window. “Sorry for the wait, I had a . . . situation to take care of.” Night gave me a kiss on the cheek. “Now, where were we?” He kissed me on the throat and I surrendered.
I slowly tipped my head back, letting the pulse in my throat ring in Night’s ears. Night kissed my throat at the pulse and followed it lower. He met the pulse where it rested on the top of my breast. He couldn’t help the blood lust and gently sank his teeth into me.
I felt the teeth sink into my silky skin and the blood starting to rush from my body. With Night sucking on the wound from my chest and the pump of my heart ringing in my ears, my adrenalin picked up. With the adrenalin rush pumping blood from my veins into Night’s mouth, it made the experience very intoxicating.
I enjoyed every bit of pleasure that vampires can enthrall. I placed a hand on the back of Night’s head as he started to withdraw, insisting he take more.
He took the invitation of taking more blood and rested his head on me once again.
He continued to drink only projecting his thoughts into my mind. Your blood is bittersweet, metallic. It’s the most . . . oh . . . the most delicate thing I’ve ever imagined. I have to stop or else there might not be anything left to stop.
My hand again pushed him closer to me even with his warning, I was in a magical enthrallment. He forced himself to stop, lunging himself from my hold and landed on the floor.
“I’m sorry, I didn’t mean to take that much.” Night wiped his mouth with the back of his hand and started to get up. He walked over to me and picked me up off my feet and placed me on the bed.
I felt faint and tired. “Now, why would you be sorry about something I insisted that you do?”
Night stood at my bedside and said, “Because, I should have stopped, even if you were telling me to continue.” Night kissed my forehead. “You should get some rest and I’ll bring you some dinner in a couple of hours.” Night walked out of the room and closed the door behind him.
