About the Author

The author, Sharon Centers wrote a series of books dealing with the issues of death and dying and how to help children cope with the loss of a loved one in their life.  She has been interested in thanantology, specifically how it pertains to children, since her under graduate studies at Indiana University.  She possesses a Bachelor of Science degree in Social and Behavioral Sciences and graduate studies focusing on Child and Adolescent Psychology.  The subject matter of death for children is often frightening and Centers has found a way to initiate understanding without threatening security.

 

Sharon Centers grew up in Appalachia where creative imagination and artistic ability are greatly appreciated. She now lives in Indiana where she  continues to explore art, writing and working with children.
