On Wednesday 18^th August 2004 eight men were sensationally charged with terrorist activity, the charges relate to an allegedly planned Al Qaeda ‘Dirty Bomb’ attack on a prime London target such as Heathrow Airport or Buckingham Palace the residence of Queen Elizabeth the British Monarch. The men were among thirteen arrested in a series of dawn raids on houses and premises on the 3^rd of August 2004.  Security forces stated that had the attack/s taken place it would have been the deadliest terrorist outrage since the September 11^th attacks in America. Osama Bin Laden’s UK General a 32 year old man from North West London was believed to be amongst those arrested. One of the suspects was arrested in possession of a ‘Terrorist Handbook’. Which gave instructions on how to manufacture explosives and bombs from chemicals?

Westbury Wiltshire. Wednesday 15th October 2003

Since the end of the cold war, and the scaling down of operations in Northern Ireland, the SIS facility at Westbury in Wiltshire was now little used.  Or that’s what we are supposed to believe.
