Held so high esteem;
That I would seek to hear it’s sound,
And embrace it in my dreams.
“Hello” my friend is all you say…
But not all I wish to hear.
However, say it again everyday,
Of every single year!
“Hello back!” my friend.
BUTTERFLY
Oh butterfly upon a breeze…
How poetic is your flight.
In the Sun you dance so free
Until the turn of night.
DANCE!
Let not your flutter fall
From my covetous sight.
Your flight sings to me an epic song
That brings my soul delight.

About the Author
Gail DeJohn, whose maiden name is Gail Garner often writes under the pen name "Grace". She was born in 1968, and grew up in
