About the Book

The brain trauma was severe.   In fact, the brain trauma was so severe that death might be the kinder option to life in a vegetative state.  Joshua Lawrence lay fighting for every breath after a traumatic car accident lands him in the critical care unit of St. Louis University Hospital in Missouri a day before his college graduation.

The devastating news of the crash rocks Joshuas family and challenges their very faith in God.  Doctors say Joshuas recovery has a very slim chance of being a good one. Can they keep their trust in God if Joshua  never makes it out of the hospital?

The dramatic journey is documented by Joshuas mother as she writes heartfelt messages home to friends and family letting them know of the day-by-day struggle with words that only a mother can write.

This compelling story of faith and heartache rips into the human soul and digs a little deeper into the heart of all who read it.
