About the Book

This poetry book is filled with a variety of poems that are based on personal experiences, true stories, tragedies and internal feelings. The poems are designed to help inspire, motivate and guide individuals that might have experienced similar incidents, issues and/or challenges in their lives.  The content/material used in this book is primarily intended to be clean and appropriate for all age readers; however, each individual reader may perceive/interpret the information differently and evaluate it based upon their own personal preference/experiences.  Furthermore the provided content/material written in this book is not intended to offend or cause harmful feelings toward any one particular individual, gender, religion, race and/or cultural group of people.  As the author, I would like for you to utilize this book as a learning tool and to view it from a positive perspective. In the event you find that the content/material in this book is too challenging, or you are having a difficult time comprehending/understanding it; simply read the content/material a second time for a better understanding!  I would like to thank each and everyone who actually supported me by purchasing this book.  Hopefully, you will enjoy reading it and the many more to come!

About the Author

Eddie has made several educational accomplishments.  He first earned his major (BA) degree in Sociology along with three additional minor degrees.  He then went on to earn a post-bachelor degree in Education, which certified him to teach at the elementary through high school grade levels.  Eddie then received his (MS) degree in Curriculum and Instruction, with an emphasis on Mathematics and Scientific Investigations.  Mr. Jones has completed a variety of additional graduate level math, science, writing and administrative related workshops/cohorts for the district.  He recently completed a new degree program, which gave him a (MS) in Education with emphasis on Administration Leadership and Supervision.  Although, Eddie was honored with a “Glass Apple” award in 1997/98 for being selected as one of the top (100) teachers in the Milwaukee district and appeared in the (2002) edition of “Who’s Who Among America’s Top Teachers; he was recently honored and will appear in the new (2004-2005) edition of “Who’s Who Among America’s Top Teachers” and the new (2004-2005) edition of “The Chancellor’s List”, two of the highest academic honors to which a graduate level student can aspire.  These special awards will most definitely be appreciated and added to the collection of Eddie’s athletic and academic awards!
