We live in a technology based world today. Bringing us together from one side of the planet to the other. Like anything else it is up to parents and grandparents to monitor their children so harm doesn’t come their way. Too much of anything can cause problems. As a result of children who constantly look at a computer or television screen some of the following things may occur: their eye sight may be damaged, Also, earphones with continuous loud noise may cause hearing lose. Some children that use video games for entertainment everyday lack in the basic manners and politeness adults expect from them. We need this technology because of the times we are in. However, parents and grandparents beware of the ramifications in the constant use of video games by children. Children need to pay attention to life around them. Let’s not forget that not only technology needs to be mastered but what goes on around us in everyday life, such as love and reading a simple book, must not be forgotten. Don’t let your children draw their minds into a game every free minute they have. Broaden their mind with the basics such as simple conversational skills.

About the Book This story is about two curious and unsuspecting worms that enter into the world of technology. They found themselves in a life of addiction which caused serious consequences. Pete and Re-Pete are the best of friends and they have families that support them. They are able to face the evil that was embracing them. The story is full of wonder and excitement and has a very important lesson to learn.

About the Author: Kristy Duval is married, a mother of three and a grandmother of ten. Kristy keeps very busy writing a series of children’s books. She lives an interesting life being a bail bondsman 24/7, and has a state license for Real Estate Broker and manages several apartment buildings. In her free time, she volunteers reading to pre school children. Most of her life she has been a resident, but loves to travel when ever she is able to. This is a second in the series of Pete and Re-Pete and Kristy hopes to continue helping children in this way.
