Before and Everafter

I was only married for a short time before I found out  I  was expecting, Then 9 months later, the story started with the birth  of  my son.  His birth, and his life as for the reason for this book.

As the story goes it all began back on February 7th 1975.

David  was a perfect baby boy  born on 2/7/75 at 3:12 a.m. in the morning.  He weighed in at 7 lbs. 12 oz.  The pregnancy was normal all except that I had high blood pressure problems due to my weight gain and had to take Phenabarbitol.  The hospital I had David at was Vanderbilt University Hospital.  The Doctor that delivered “David” was a Dr Frank Bohm, and a Dr Gunn assisted.

There it was, I went into labor at 1:00 p.m. the afternoon of, February 6, 1975.  Then there was a ride to the hospital about 5 p.m.   But I found that he was not ready to come that I had only dialated only 4 centimeters.  I had to leave and come back when I was about 6 centimeters before I could be admitted to the hospital.  I believe it was 8:00 p.m. So all together it was about fourteen hours before David was born. 

My mom, dad, my brother-Joe, and the father were waiting for the birth of  the baby. “David” was born when dad had to go to work, in which Joe ran to the parking lot to try and catch dad before he left for work.

  Joe said,  " Hey  Dad " Their Here, A 7lb 12 oz boy had been born, at 3:12 a.m.", That in fact was learned before dad could reach his car to go to work that morning.

David had became a member of a single parent family after about 4 years.  Nothing was his fault.  There is no intent to make me the mother perfect for I can tell you for sure that I am not.
