The Believers' Position

   John said in the third epistle of John verse four, “I have no greater joy than to hear that my children walk in truth”

    This book will explore relevant scriptures to reveal what Christ has completed for all the people who will accept Him as the Savior and Lord of their lives. Also it will expose to the believers in Jesus Christ what they have to do to establish themselves in the covenant blessings as the Church and members of the family of God.

   Many covenant promises are stated in the scriptures for believers to receive and enjoy. The devil is taking advantage over the ignorance of some believers through manipulation of the word of God and getting them out of the covenant. Many believers don’t understand what the scriptures promise about who they are in Christ for the simple reason that they don’t have the revelation of who the Christ is.

   The few believers who seem to have little understanding are acting on what others are saying. The Bible says, "study to show yourself approved unto God, a workman that needed not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth." Many believers have not been taught how to search the Word by themselves in order to form their belief system on the entire word of God. This lack of understanding has made them not to be able to stand firm for what they believe when they are faced with challenges and trials and the devil is taking great advantage over the situation.

   The good news however, is no matter what the devil does, he has been defeated therefore the believers can take the position of victory in Jesus Christ. You have to identify with the victory of Christ at Calvary and accept what He did for your liberty before you can stand against the devil when he raises his head against you or any of your family members.

   Jesus Christ shamed the devil when he rose from the dead on the third day, he took the key of hell from him and gave the dominion and freedom back to man. The Bible says Jesus knew no sin, but became sin so that every one who accepts the gift of salvation shall be free. Therefore your freedom is not as a result of what you did but what Jesus did for you.

    Believers should understand their position in Christ and acknowledge that the devil is a weakling and has already been defeated. The devil’s only legal method of operation is to deceive the whole world [Revelation 12:9]. The deceptions come through religious schemes, carnality, immorality, the lusts of the eyes, flesh, and the pride of life. But you can overcome these by establishing your belief system in the entire Word of God, the Bible.

    The reason I wrote this book is to help believers see the freedom that belongs to them when they take their rightful position in Christ Jesus. God has given unto us victory from the foundation of the world and granted us a position of divine authority in it. The believers’ authority will be inoperative and powerless without the knowledge of the believers’ position in which Christ has placed us. God wants us to take our rightful place and walk in it. If you do, it will change your life as it did mine.
