About the Book

An angry man returns to the gorgeous Greek island of Rhodes. His mission?

The reader is treated to a tension building saga of old hates and new crimes. The novel’s plot is full of twists and turns just like the tunnels and an assortment of bizarre characters leap off the pages. The reader will be fascinated by the drama unfolding on the cobblestone pathways, through the narrow arched passages and in the hidden courtyards of the Medieval City. The tunnels and the possibility of hidden treasure are the focus of the characters throughout the book which end with an explosive confrontation in the underground’s spooky burrows that wind under the centuries old walled city of Rhodes.

About the Author

A native Californian, Eleanor Clarke Yukic''s youth was spent at the beach or in the mountains where she developed a love for the out-of doors. She worked 25 summers at camp, 10 counseling and 15 directing, and has hiked wilderness trairls in the US and Canada; the Milford and Abel Tasmin tracks, New Zealnad; Lake County in Great Britain, the Pyrenees of France. Yukic has BA and MA degrees from UCLA and worked as a teacher and with youth organizatons for 38 years. She''s been active with the American Camping Association, Red Cross and teacher organizations. Since retiring she writes fulltime. She has three adult children and three grandchildren. Her daughter manages a small hotel in the Medieval City on the island of Rhodes which Mrs. Yukic has visited and explored for several years. She lives in Northern California with her faithful Belgian Malinois and stays in shape lap swimming and by daily hikes along the San Francisco Bay to enjoy the sights and smells of nature while fantasizing a scene for her latest novel. Her previous published works are DEADLY GAMES and A LEGACY OF DECEIT.
