A WORD OF ENCOURAGEMENT
To all of my readers, especially the ones who may have a handicap or disability, look up and live, in spite of. Your strength is not in you, but in Almighty God. If you think you are limited, and then you have a limitation, but if you think you can achieve or do it, you can accomplish! You can go as far as the sky because the sky is the limit.
As you go through each day of your life, if you have a portion of health and strength, and if you are able to help yourself and others along the way, you need to be grateful and thankful. You don’t need to take it for granted. After having this, the next important thing is to have the fruit of the Spirit, love. Having love will take you further than anything in the world. If you have not charity (love) it profiteth you nothing.
I Corinthians 13:3
It is not until we surrender our life to our Creator when we’ll see God’s Goodness and our purpose through our inability. If you have not surrendered your life to God, I encourage you to do it today and watch God manifest Himself to you and unfold what is hidden to you-your purpose.

About the Book
This book is about enduring the many challenges of life with a handicap. The challenge is choosing to go on and live your life in spite of. Even though you may not like the tasks or understand them fully that are before you, you will learn to endure them. You will read many times I did not like what I was enduring, but I went through them and it has worked for my good. This book will help you recognize the “Goodness of God” in the midst of and after your challenges.
This book will help you to know that inspite of a disability you can still have strength to accomplish your goals in life if you have Christ because the scripture says, “I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me.” Philippians 4:13
About the Author
Patricia Maye Brown is the mother of two sons and the wife of Amos Brown, Jr., graduate of D. H. Conley High School and the Greenville School of Commerce. Presently a minister at Free Spirit Holy Church under the leadership of Pastor Frank Conner, Jr.
The dream to write a book was a long awaited idea that finally came to pass. My desire and hope is that this testimony will be spreaded abroad and will uplift many lives. I am blessed if someone else is encouraged. We are overcome by one another’s testimony.
I want God to get all of the glory out of my life.
