About the Book

April 22, 1889 50,000 people just waiting for a cannon to fire. In search of land and a new beginning. The story of one family dealing with daily life in the late 1800''s   the growth of the family and the state they claimed as theirs.   The relationships that form in the family and beyond as a State grows.   A government trying to find it''s self. The taking of land from others, making Indians live where they wanted them to.   Bank robbers like the Doolin gang; Bell Starr, The Dalton''s and many more that roamed the land. The Wild West Shows, Tornados, and the other diversities they faced. The relationship of two women trying to find a place in this new land. How hard it must have been to hide yourself from the world.   Life back then was so different from today. Were their lives easier with oui the things we have today? I would like to think that maybe life was something like this back then, not moving as fast as today. Exploring some of the erotica parts in this novel, as that was part of the relationship between some of the people in the novel. There''s humor,   Poems and other kinds of interesting tid-bits, through out the novel.

About the Author

Born in Frederick Oklahoma in 1955 and lived there for 30 years. Learning the history of the state my Grandfather help to settle. He was there when the Land Run of 1889 was opened to folks. Though the years of living in Oklahoma I learned the state has quite a few colorful characters.    In 1983 I took  vacations to Oregon to see come family. They took me to the Pacific Ocean and I fell in love with the area. Now having lived 17 years here in the Northwest I have grown in spirit. My love for reading and story tell are one of the reasons I started this story. The other thing helping me write this story was the people I have met since living here in Oregon, Washington. Friends that have helped me along the way. Telling me not to give up on a dream. All I can say is writing is like life, I have to write it down.
