About the Book

Since he was born, and for forty years, people, good and bad alike, called him, “The truthful honest”. An orphan who grew up to be a merchant, traveling somewhere in a harsh desert no one cared for, or for its ever battling tribes. Since the archangel Gabriel appeared to him, initiating his prophecy, Islam has spread exponentially. Just to give up his message, they offered him all the money in his world, all the power and influence imaginable, yet he declined, simply stating, he was sent to reform people, not to rule them. On the day he passed away, he barely had any thing in his modest room, few pieces of stall bread, and the clothes on his back. Within few decades from the day he announced his message, the two mighty empires, Roman, and Persian crumbled under the wave of Islamic civilization. Some researchers believe that not only the advancement of the Islamic civilization and its scientific achievements was the bedrock of the European civilization that followed, but also in itself, the Islamic era was the zenith of our human civilization to date. Over a billion people today believe, he changed the course of humanity, positively, and forever, like no other man has ever done. Yet, till the day he passed away, Mohammad didn’t read, and didn’t write. It must have been what he said Here it is.

About the Author

Mustafa Zayed is A Muslim American who graduated from Alexandria University with a bachelor in communication systems engineering.

While being involved in the financial markets for the past decade Mustafa Zayed has been a keen student of comparative cultures and religions especially from the history of humanity stand point.

Mustafa Zayed in his book “Mohammad said” tries to benefit the western reader with his deep understanding of the Islamic culture and the Arabic language in order to shed some light on an obscure period of history to the reader, especially as the era of the Islamic civilization is one of the most interesting or even glorious eras in human history.

While Mustafa Zayed has been writing most of his life, he had never entertained the urge to pursue writing as a career, till he felt that his contribution to the current cultural dialogue is needed, and that keeping such input privately was not totally constructive from an ideology stand point.

While Mustafa Zayed’s planned book releases cover a wider area of current subjects, he however believes his contribution, as a fair commentator who belongs to both western and Islamic cultures, would favor his immediate commitments to issues similar to that of his first book “Mohammad said”
