About the Book

This book explains that like all highly developed skills, living requires focus, direction, and effort.  Meaningful lives don’t just happen. More focused, more enjoyable experiences are not simply a continuum of spontaneous events, but a collection of efforts designed to move you in a defined direction. This book will remind the reader that the desired goal is not as important as the effort to reach that goal, and that the ultimate use of one’s life is completely self-determined. It explains to the reader that life unfolds on a daily basis and therefore, our actions and our efforts should be focused in the same manner.

Great effort is made to remind the reader that the more important experiences in life are not materially based, that much too attention is given to the acquisition and eventual worship of things.  In an effort to live with more meaning, more internal peace and personal satisfaction, we must learn to live one day at a time. We must master the process of focused, constructive thought and internal self-reflection.
