UNSPOKEN EMOTIONS

Nadia rounded the corner where Jonathan lived when she noticed Quiona walking down the steps. Jonathan was dressed in cargo shorts and no shirt, exposing his muscular chest and chiseled abs.

Nadia reduced her speed and parked a few doors down from his building.

After Jonathan walked in and shut the door, Nadia walked to the door, letting herself in.

She ascended the stairs to retrieve her personal belongings & descended the steps with an armful of clothes. He was busy in his study and didn''t notice her presence until her second trip in.

 When she came back down the steps with more clothes in her arms, Jonathan asked, "Where are you going, baby?"

Nadia ignored his question until she removed all of her clothing and shoes and descended the steps for the last time. When she reached the bottom step, Jonathan stopped her and demanded she acknowledge his question.

"Nadia, what are you doing?"

She gave him an impatient look and he released her arm but not without asking her once more of her strange actions.

"Are you going to explain to me what''s going on here?"

"I''m leaving you alone. You can''t seem to get enough of Quiona. So tell that ghetto queen she can have you."

"Wait!! What-Where is all of this coming from?"

With an impatient sigh, Nadia said, "Don''t act dumb, Jonathan!! It doesn''t suit you. Besides, I know what I saw and that''s all the proof I need."

"Nadia?!? What proof? What did you see?"

Jonathan asked as his patience wore thin because nothing about this verbal exchange made sense to him.

Nadia turned to walk away and said simply, "Goodbye Jonathan."

As she walked away, she dropped his key on the table by the door & slammed it shut behind her.

He followed her to the door and stood outside yelling her name. By this time, she was already in her car & speeding off.
