(This poem was written
Especially for my daddy)
From the day I was born you were father
As time went by you were dad.
Every day that we spent you were daddy
With you I would never be sad.
When times seemed dark
You were my light;
The words you said
Made my day seem bright.
When my troubles would come
To you I would run
And you would make everything all right.
You were always the one I could count on
For me you would always be there.
When I needed a good laugh
You would offer the kids your funny plastic ear
(Its one of those things only your family would understand,
I‘m sure we can all relate to that.)

About the Book
Everyone at some point in their life are affected by the events that happen every day. You don’t know what’s coming up next. I want to share with you some of my experiences and troubles and triumphs.
I, like anyone, have poured my heart out to tell the story of life, mine. Not everything about it, but a good share. My poetry has a few tear jerkers and some laughs, some heart felt openings I will share with the world.
I want you to enjoy the stories and poetry and feel the emotion I fueled these pages with deep down inside.
About the Author
The poetry and words I have included in my work, I find, like any other book show that these are words with true meaning and feeling. When you pour your heart into words you’re pouring your heart out to the entire world.
I want the people who are reading any work to feel what I was feeling when I wrote this. To read it and let it in and touch their hearts. If I as a published author, poet of the year in September 2003, and very proud mother of three beautiful boys can touch the hearts of some of the people of our world with my own thoughts and feelings than I myself can have a warm feeling of accomplishment and joy.
